The free core stores memory locally and continues working when no sync service is available.
Entitlement-gated sync
Team sync requires an active seat. When entitlement ends, the client degrades to local-only operation.
Encryption tiers
Launch uses TLS in transit and managed encryption at rest. Per-team KMS and true E2EE are later tiers, not current claims.

What happens after 14 days?
The Odoo-managed trial ends and Waykeep Team is $15 per active seat each month. If Team entitlement ends, hosted sync stops and each client continues with the free local core.
Is the core still free?
Yes. Waykeep Core remains free, local-first, and usable without Team sync.
What is shared?
For an enrolled project, eligible project memories such as pitfalls, decisions, facts, and patterns sync to entitled team members. Local preferences and private-project content stay outside that path.
Can we keep memory with the repo?
Yes, through the core's manual memory-pack export and import. Waykeep never runs git commit or push for you; automated tracked .waykeep/ reconciliation is deferred.
How do encryption tiers differ?
Team launch uses TLS in transit and managed encryption at rest with an honest operator-access boundary. Per-team KMS envelope encryption is the next tier; true end-to-end encryption requires a later threat-model project.
